Made it Rain, will we have any numbers this week? We are very interested, you must be nuts with anticipation. Said it before, but i'll say it again, nicest 382 to ever come out of the factory. Although I do like the 353's, there sooo cute in purple. What up Storm?

I should hear something this morning. I should also be getting video of the test, they say it has a huge rooster tail.

Thanks Jeff ~ I'm glad you like my 353... but let's try to keep this thread on topic! It's all about Made it Rain's new 382... The COOLEST 382 on the Planet!

Did anyone else notice the lack of transom-mounted water pickups? They must be using some sort of through-hull pickup on the bottom of the boat. Interesting.

I'm sure with the huge weight-savings, there's going to be some re-balancing of the setup with these engines.

I just want to be clear that that number was purely a guess, and that it's not outside the realm of possiblity, AND that it came from the mouth of a dumb old English Ed. major, not an engineer!

My 700NXT 382 ran 97 out of the box. I would think with the weight savings this ilmore would do better than that

That's impressive and stronger than what I've heard for any of the factory-installed 700NXT boats. Did you rig yours the same as the factory? No Whipple upgrade kits, right?

By the way - How did you rig your water pickups? I don't see any transom pickups on MiR's boat...
