silent thunder swim platform is yellowing - any suggestions
#1
my 272 silent thunder swim platform is yellowing slowly over the years. it has no slip dimples in the top surface, so buffing wont work, what cleaner/product do you recomments, product must not hurt the small amount of imron on the sides of the platform either.
thanks, trying to keep her lookin new

My boat is the same way. The blue on my silent thunder platform is fading (it also has non-skid on it). I ended up taking some 3M Finesse-it II and using a scrubrush with the compound. Sound weird, but worked really well. Don't know how long it will last (cant really wax non-skid). Finesse-it II isn't very strong either, but didn't want to use a medium or heavy duty coupound if I didn't have to.

FSR is good stuff. Before that I used good old Clorox Clean-up & a powdered bleach formula. wet the deck, put it on as a paste & left it overnight. Washed it the next day & VIOLA!! clean & white. It lasted for 2 years, then I repeated it.
