I had a 86 272 with the same issue. I sold it,guy that baught it said he replaced the throttle cables due to stretching,,,,, Said he picked up about 800rpm with new cables. I would think you could adjust this at carbs???
I also adjusted mine sothey both hit the secondaries at the same time and marked it on the throttles, just so I know where they start to open up. |

Still haven't got the picture thing figured out! There is a video of her on YouTube from before I bought her. Look up Brett Wagner dam to dam run on YouTube. I'll work on the pictures!

Ya I saw that video after I bought it!! Very clean and runs very good! He at least took good care of it!! It's had a few owners I'd guess!! Working on getting her back to looking new!
