Couldn't have said it better myself. It a shame to see neglected Formula's and other icons of that era that end up getting junked. My boat is not "showroom" condition (8.75 out of 10) but it is a lot cleaner than newer boats that I see on CL and it gains a lot of attention on the water. It is extremely difficult to find a used performance boat these days. My cousin purchased a 2011 Regal BR last year and brought it out to my area of MD and cruised with our group for a few weekends last season, which we all have mid/late 80's, early 90's performance boats, needless to say the Regal is now on CL and we just picked up a clean 1988 Stingray Maxim 222ss two weeks ago for him after looking at 14 other boats in the last 3 months. It blows my mind every time on CL on how people misrepresent the item they are selling.
