Not yet - my 382 has turned into a very long term project..
Life in general and work just keep getting in the way. Then Covid came along.
However - I am very close to sea trials.
I still have a few more technical issues to iron out, but I have the parts ordered - so the end is in sight.
I'll keep you informed.

Well we did the first sea trials today.
Only idled out for like 10 minutes and the starboard engine misfired and stalled.
Could not restart it.
Went home on the other engine.
At home started both engines again - seemed fine.
Let them idle for ~ 10 minutes. Oil pressures and temperatures fine.
Headed out again, only got a couple hundred meters and there was a bad knocking sound in the starboard engine.
Shut it down and went home on the port engine.
So ........... not sure what the forward plan of attack should be from here.
Frustrating really.

Have a 353 Fastech with 565's and can only get 82. Not nearly fast enough. Looking for performance upgrades but can't seem to find anything for the 565's. In hindsight, I wish I went with the 525's as I could have thrown a set of Whipples on them.

I just tried to pump out some oil out as I have a hose to the bottom of the high capacity sump, but no go.
The sump must have a valve on it that I didn't leave open and I cannot reach it. A lesson for next time.
I'll let you know the outcome, but that maybe awhile.
