However, doesn’t look that difficult. Will figure it out.
Go to CPPerformance website. I believe the installation instructions are posted there. I bought mine from there and I did install it myself. Its really not hard just a little nerve racking drilling holes in your drives and also through the transom. Measure many times then sleep on it measure one more time then drill.

Default Dyno Time

First engine hit the dyno today. Very pleased with the results, 732ftlb 632hp. They are still tweaking the jetting so there might be a little more to get once the AFR is perfect. I was focused on big torque down low. Mission accomplished. Second engine should be wrapped up tomorrow.

Do you have any pics or documentation when you did gas tank replacement? I am getting ready to do this on my formula and would be great to see pics of how someone else did it (not looking forward to doing it LOL)

I know what you mean about lack of space, even oil filter changes are a pain (will do remotes on new engine replacement) .. mine are small blocks, can't even imagine big block access

Never seen a run time ver output. That is cool. Do you have a rpm/ output graph?

What do you think the numbers will be when you put a sea water pump, alternator, power steering, marine exhaust, circulating pump (if you use one) and flame arrestor on?

Always like seeing dyno numbers on different combo's.

This is what it looks like once the center access panel is removed. By far, the original foam is the worse part of the entire project. I have yet to hear of anyone not having to use brute force once all the obvious foam is cut away. Hope this helps.

Second engine results came in super close to the first one. My guess, perhaps 10 +/- HP once fully dressed. The torque on these engines will really help mitigate any meaningful loss. Over 600TQ by 3200 rpm.

Thank you for that pic Formula -272, gives me a great game plan before I start. Have use of a forklift, so that should help after cutting loose foam.

Good luck on your newly installed power, sounds like they are real healthy!

Default Coming together

For those that have commented, PM’d and offered advice, thanks again. Owned you all an update….

Power is finally going back in over these next few weeks after a never ending “while I’m there” list.

Engines are fully dressed. Platform fabrication was completed and is currently out for powder coating. Hydraulic steering is installed. Both side stringers reinforced to handle extra power. Let’s not forget the ton of miscellaneous stuff done for peace of mind.

again, gratitude for all the folks helping with advice and encouragement. Will post another update when she is fully back together. The finish line is in sight (for now lol)

Invest in spare drives! That's a mountain of torque!

Nicely done - can't wait to hear the results. The IMCO setup is really nice - puts everything right where it needs to be. I have Latham on my 311 and there was a lot of guessing to do even with the template I got from them.

Platform is sweet, too!

Getting closer!! Both engines are in. Port engine was fired today. Sounds AMAZING. Making the switch to crank water pumps turned out to be a game changer with a Massive difference in water flow. What was a nightmare to change the impeller will now be a 15 minute job. Not going to miss those merc pumps. As part of the conversion, added Idmar strainer for some extra insurance since the new drives are low water pickups. A few more misc parts ordered today to wrap this up, should be done 100% in the next 30 days. Just in time for the weather breaking here in the northeast. Looking forward to experiencing the fruit of this 8 month journey.
