They offer(ed) that right? Do they install sea strainers, and if so......where and how? Pics?

The 600 boats have sea strainers. No pics,didn't go to Miami,but when my 600 353 gets in I can do pics

My 382 with 600's has sea strainers.

But those are Volvo/Innovation engines.

And cost $18,000 less (EACH) than the 600's that Mercury puts in there now...

In the bilge, just in front of the engines, underneath the "access hatches".

In case anyone would be interested, there is another 38 Formula with those Innovation 600s' that has made the transformation from VolvoDPX to Mercury transom assemblies, Stellings boxes and Bravo XRs. Boat is for sale in the St. Louis area and looks mint.

I know that boat ,it will run 81 on gps,they couldnt keep the props from breaking blades so formula put xr's on for him

I know of two of these that have gone back to Formula to get re-rigged with the Mercury/Bravo XRs on Stellings boxes. Both came out very nice.
