Those are PEM studs that are pressed into the panel. I would have used the type that presses from the opposite side of the panel......

The only thing for you to do is drill through and install a similar sized phillips flat head (like what holds the hinge brackets) or.....new panel! Next time.....try unlatching before you try to open the panel.

I am working on redoing my dash panel on a '97 382. I was looking through some old threads on the subject and saw that you had some extra blanks made. Do you still have any left?

I ran across this site not long ago - could be an option if you really want to go custom & trick. Lot's of carbon fiber material and color choices. http://compositeenvisions.com/

I Have 2 Formula Dash Panels From A 353 F/t Formula's Part # Is 175088 Blue ( Not Blanks ) If You Want I Will Send A Picture Or Call John @ 5163786400
