I would love to get new dash panels for my 292 but I decided to remodel my family room instead, so there went my budget for that.
I will be updating the dash this season, it just won't be with new panels. I got something else in mind for the time being. Will try to post some pics when I get around to it.

I had the panel made slightly larger to cover the gap that would be caused if you matched the step panel. the step does not affect your ability to use a flat panel. You do have to be diligent in your measuring and drilling of the screw holes for the hinged brackets, I used a card board template.

My dash arrived from Steve on Thursday. I am floored. It is beautiful. I am trying to decide what to do on the wires for the gauges. They are like a 22 gauge and the harness is 14 gauge some doubled up. I was thinking about just running them all to a distribution block and one wire from the harness for the hot wire, ground, and illumination. Each gauge will still have a sender wire. I have a step down butt connector for that. Any thoughts?
What did you guys do for the latch? I was thinking about making a block and gluing it to the back of the new dash.
