Really looking forward to comparing the 525's to the 500's I had, as well as the seeing what the deletion of the Silent Thunder is like. If you find out anything on the ramps let me know if you can.

I think you're going to like not having the Silent Thunder. I know I loved it when I dropped mine.

Any Formula HAS to breath better without one.

good luck.....

I'll see if that's one of the Hospitals my brother frequents. Sounds like you planned your schedule well. Sounds like you've got some some serious upgrades! I have the Garmin BlueCharts that I have loaded on my PC and I did map out Brenner Marine to PIB. I noticed the shallow waters and bouys as well coming out of that channel.. They do have a prefered route once I get beyond the markers, but that would be great to have someone who would be willing to familiarize me with the area. I have to call Garmin because they need my serial number off the new GPS to reload my maps, and I can't find the serial number on the unit.

Do you have a GPS plotter? If you run the Toledo channel out to say P.I.B., you need to stay in the middle of the channel until after the tall radar pin. There are places along the channel 4-5 miles out that are only 2-3 feet deep!

Dukenrock,

Looks like I can possibly trade a night shift to be off Wednesday if your coming over to Toledo. Weather is saying 66-70 with some isolated thunderstorms later in the day (what's a little rain, right?). I just tried yur cell. Give me a call at work 419-893-5920 if you get this tonight.

Chris

Which model Garmin do you have? Does it take the BlueChart cassette like the 182C? If it does, I could just loan you mine for the area.

OK, here it is ...

Dukenrock needs help breaking in his new 382. Unfortunately, I was scheduled to work all day tomarrow. But being a truly dedicated Formula supporter, I am going to take one for the team. I have traded my day shift tomarrow and instead pulling 12 hours tonight so I can "help" Kevin with this most difficult task. Official "cabin bi***" and dock boy.

Weather predicting 72 and sunny with 30% chance of scattered thunderstorms later in the day (they wouldn't dare rain on this occasion). Winds SSE 10-20 m.p.h. with some gusts to 35 m.p.h. might make for some snotty stuff on the lake, but we'll see how it looks.
