Was thinking the same thing.

The Throttle cables go on the furthest back hole on my '97. I would do as Birdog said. He knows his Fountains!

One foreward, one reverse, boat would rotate as when docking.

But if both drives are in forward the reverse rotaion prop will be turning back wards. , Am I thinking right .

I've noticed that my boat planes better with the drive at 3 or 4 than it does with the drive all the way in. The prop starts to ventilate a little, the revs come up, the power comes on, and bam, it's on plane. If i trim it all the way in it just lugs along at 2500 rpm until it drags itself on plane.

Interesting what size is your boat, May be something new to try. You still using your tabs???

Do you have MPI/or 496 Motors If so they may be in Protection/limp mode?? You would need a rinda tool to Diag..if so clear the fault code and your Off

it sounds to me like a electrical / safety issue with the motors, I don't think it is wired correctly
