Re: 35 Lightning Classic deck in water today
My GPS when new had a small wire that pulled out of the head. Couldn't really tell but a small tug and that was the prob. Got a new harness for 13. and works great.

My boat came from the factory with 28P Bravo 4 blade props,
35 Lightning with one step and HP500EFI's. On a 65 degree day at the ocean (sea level) 4 people and full gas the engines wanted to over rev and the boat ran about 80+ it was still accelerating but the rpm's were 5800 and I pulled the throttles back, for fear of hurting something. I would like to try a pair of 30's to see what they do. My props are turning in.

David,
Glad to hear that the boat is working out so well.
Looks like we have been going out on alternate weekends. I launched 3 times from MDR between December and February.
We'll have to hook up before too long and run together. Although Fountains are popular elsewhere, there are not to many of them locally.
Mine's been in the shop for a while now (replacement windshield) and I suspect I won't get it back for a couple of weeks.
However, I've got reservations for Havasu the weekends of 4/13 and 4/27 and am looking at Catalina for 5/11 and maybe Memorial day weekend (5/25) if I can get a mooring.
Drop me a line ([email protected]) if any of our dates match...
