New Fountain ad in Powerboat!!!!!!

yes you missed my point. this thread applies to skater vee's. and compared to fountains they have no track record. peter is a great guy who has also contributed to our industry, but the vee doesnt hang.
and yes cigarettes do spin, much more and easier than fountains , hense the hurting resale on the gladiators. a factor of course is the driver and his/ her ability, none the less % wise they spin.
point stand's.
fountains are the safest best handiling boats. they prove it on the race course. and the poker run circuits. and the bays and local waters.
and as for reggie he is in fact a living legend. say what you will, the man is a warrior. he is no spring chicken and yet he seems to stay at the forefront of the media and our industry.
make NO mistake i kneel to no mortal son, but i do recognize and admire ability , drive , and desire. to be the best , beat the best, and stay on top. and it is fountain whom has done all of these things.
like a very good close friend of mine Joe Sgro ( also a man i admire) once said, its not how fast you go but how good you go fast.
and fountains do exactly that .
as for t2x i couldnt care what he did 40 years ago, the king did it then and is still doing it now.
so i will repat my self,,
all you punk ass's do as the add says and just shut yur traps and bring it.

If, and I mean if, the 36 Gladiator (now discontinued) had a spinning problem, does that mean all Cigarettes spin? OK, 38 Top Gun owners, chime in.
Safest, best handling, fastest ... I guess you've driven everything there is to drive. Or at least you've read and digested the ads. I have nothing against Fountains. On the contrary. But I have a lot against sweeping generalizations.
And yeah, I didn't get your point because, once again, you generalized and failed to make it clearly. You said "Skaters," not Skater V-bottoms.
On one issue, you're right: Skater V-bottoms don't have Fountain's track record, on the racecourse or off. They haven't been around nearly as long, but still, Fountain's accomplishments are impressive.
I wouldn't expect you to "bow to any mortal" (time to put down the comic books and take a breath), but treating people who've forgotten more than you likely will ever know, guys like T2X, is more than appropriately respectful.
It's smart.

Joe Sgro was racing an Outerlimits in Europe earlier this year. Didn't know he'd moved on. (We don't get a lot of current offshore news in the bar.)
Must have been case of temporary insanity, him leaving his Fountain for an Outerlimits. How can he live with himself?
I'll say this for you, Monstaa, you are entertaining. No strike that, you're funny as hell.
As for being a barstool racer, guilty as charged. But keep in mind, my Ritalin-deprived compadre, that there are 50,000 subscribers here. And there are probably fewer than 500 offshore racers in this country.
Baseball fans talk baseball without playing in the bigs. Same with football fans. And so offshore fans will talk about the sport without the "credentials" of actually racing. It's not a barrier to discussion.
Bow, kneel, stoop ... not a chance, sport. But you are funny. No question.
