Thanks for the compliments on my boat. Yes Eric does have a lot of knowledge about boats and how to make them go fast.
I refuse to get into you and Geralds peeing match but I do think that what Gerald was able to do with his 35 was pretty remarkable for a natural aspirated motors (they do not have the torque of supercharged motors). I do hate to hear that there is problems with the powerboating community in Chatt. and hope that you all get it worked out and have some more awsome poker runs. Allen |

I am the owner of the 35 boomer was talking about. You are correct I would like to get 4or 5 mph with out going into the motors. Hopeing someone has gone down this road before. Can give me the pro and cons of different props shorties etc. Thank you for your input. You did a hell of a job with that 35 Why not ask Gator One to help you solve your mystery? He did have a 35 Fountain with 575s that ran over 100mph at the factory. Then his dad told him he would never be the big dog , so he switched to a cat and proved ol dad wrong. |

The motors in this boat are naturaly aspirated. 575 are blower motors they can be boosted up to almost 800 HP with new pulleys and reprogramming I set this boat up for 93 to 102 depending on the water conditions with prop changes We put 70 hours on this boat last year and went to 4 poker runs and never broke and that was my goal with this boat |

Hering 6 blade 32x16 with long tube the boat handle best kept nose up and ran by far the fastest and would get on plane they might be 16.5 I would have to look it up to be sure
Questions are a PIA, but ........... what was your original X dimension before the -2" gear cases? And .......... maybe 15" or 15.5" diameter on the props vs the 16", the 16" just seems big for a Bravo set up? The reason I ask is I want to do something different for props for next season and I'm just trying to figure out where to start. Appreciate the info, Thanks! |
