Just mess'n with ya. But....you know, if they tested them with full tanks and 4 people. Someone would say that isnt real world either, cause I never fill my boat up all the way . Or Usually I boat with only 2 people. I thing the real point is, are the results repeatable by the owner. I dont think buyers really expect it to run the same with full tanks and gear plus passengers. They just want to be able to duplicate the results on the report........when new. Once the boat is sold or bought modified, who knows whats been done to it, and the results of the report become sort of a target, either to get too, or to get above.

Happy Holidays to you and yours.

I bought my 98 classic deck new and it came with the report that siad 75+, from day one it has run 75+ regardless of fuel load or people. But if i get her with the low fuel lights on and cool temps ill see 80 on gps ( which i installed a few year after purchasing new and on a hand held ) and mine likes to be trimmed way out there 5-6 on the indicators. I had a 90 40 with 454 365's that also liked it trimmed way out in the 5-6+ on the indicators. i have had many big step owners tell me they see there highest speed when trimmed out in the 2-3 range. When i purchased the boat new it had 27 hydro's on it that would run 77-78 at 5100-5200rpm, and would chatter like a MF'er at about 2000-2400rpm, i switched to a set of BravoI's 28 labbed and it really woke the boat up, they carry the bow through all seas and run right up to 5300rpm. I would like to try a set of labbed 30's to see if there might be a mile or two in them although i might lose a few hundred in the Rpm's i just might gain in the pitch. And by the way my 42 is a side by side 500hp boat not staggered and she still runs within a mile per hour from new.

I was in Lake Mich many years ago when a storm blew in and I can tell you 30 mph wasn't "BORING"
