i do not believe a 35 will go high 120s with 700 mercs,i would have to see it to believe it,and at the shootout is were you prove it.

Looking back through old posts, you have run 117 with 925hp/side ?
I find that hard to believe.........................
Must be another 12 or 13 mph left on the table there !!!

Congrats on your win. Takes a lot of dedication to achieve those results. Great to see another 35 ft. boat that can go out and run big numbers, it is a nice boat for sure.
I am not familiar with the classes at the shootout. Is it by length, horsepower, or combination ? Seems unfair that I would run the same class as a same length boat that has 200 hp/side more than me.

thank you,and you also have a awesome boat!!! they split it up pretty well, our class goes from 32 to 35 ft, then they have stock class(no blue engines),modified class (any size naturally aspirated),factory class(all blue engines, this would be your class),power added class(run what u bring, this is my class)so no you would not be runin against me.and you would more than likely dominate your class.you only get 7/8 mile run.hope to see you there.it is a great time with lots of bad azz boats.

Pretty sure this is incorrect. The class you are talking about is for any blue motor that is not supercharged. However I think I did here that they did or where going to add a class for specifically the 700SCI.

last year they started the factory class so the 600/700 boats dont have to run with mod supercharged/blower boats.

options on drives if you go 800 to 900hp the konrad ace is nice. I have one but still have not finished the boat. there rated for 800hp/800tq , but I know guys running more and there ok. me it will be interesting with my med pulley I am at 1114hp, sm pulley 1230hp, lg pulley less power. I plan on running the lg and mid for now. also a friends cig 89 tg with blower motors about 750hp maybe more have not hurt the konrads in 5 seasons. the imco shorties are better than the merc, and arenson#7 bravo conversions would be the fastest.those and the konrad are in the 20s per side. imcos might be there to. the X Drive, works but will cost you r&d and 40 grand per drive by the time your done
. MR. Gadgets on here can up grade your drives and tyler cockett or Dean Gellner can freshen your 502s to 540s or 509s na to 700 to 750hp. or spend more on efi blowers. both guys do great work I like DEAN he did my 572 blower motor and might be doing my back up motor which is a 670hp 509 we may bump it up to 725hp. well good luck. ps my friends that tried the imco shortie 2'' thought there boats handled better with its longer bullet design my self too.
