We were on Oneida lake, lake ontario and the 1000 islands every weekend. Backing up and docking has been an ongoing learning experience with twins and shifters on the left side. The 2 books i bought did not help. Looking forward to spring, practice practice practice.

The pre 98' didn't have the rear blower vent holes. Thats those longer side panels. He has no risk of water entering the bilge thru the rear holes like we do. Water can only enter thru the rub rail or leaking bellows/seals on his. Wished Fountain wouldn't have gone to the rear vent holes, but then I don't have any problems there, so not a concern for me. Any leaks are fixable.

Sure is weird how the 32's sit different in the water. Some with rub rail right at water level, some above. Doesn't appear that the motors are always the factor there, 502s vs 500's.

Glen,

Boat looks great, good to hear you had a successful season.

I don't think there is a model with a more sinister in-water stance. It is cool.

Now I need to memorize those pics so we will recognize you on the water.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I hope that removing the heavy stock exhaust and replacing it with the new EMI thunder manifolds will raise up the rear, mabey.

I swapped out my stock exhaust for SM's. Probably gained 1/2-1" do to the weight loss. I preferred the deeper sound from the cast iron over the AL exhaust. More tinny now

Glen, I had a 32 years back and took the engine covers off and had Fountain build me a racing style engine hatch with scoops on it. You would not believe how much the stock engine hatch weighs. Takes two people to handle it. That will help up to an inch on the sitting low. I also had aluminum heads on the 572's in the boat. It sat about 2 inches higher than other 32's. Good luck with it.

Glenn, put EMI exhaust on mine two years ago did'nt really sit any higher, sent computers to Tyler Crockett, now spinning 30 Hydros at 80.6mph. Great performance gain without alot of outlay.
