Approx 5500 17 36 18 rake 5 blade 1.34 gears like i said before it seemed like thats all it had in it , accelerated good but as it got higher in speed it seemed like something was holding it back like hitting the brakes doesnt make sense , I would think it would over rev these would hit 6200 with ease before .

Actually your slip is 36%. Way to high. The one pass I made with ericks boat I was at 5500 with a 1.5 & a 38 at 110 MPH.

It's too high. Is your water pickup flush? Too much water pickup will make stearn lift. Sorry you are having problems Dean. I could work a trade on your old lowers

So are the trim tabs. water is getting to all the pick ups so there is contact. Sorry it just looks like to many things in the water. That when a friggin pedo speedometer tube will rais havack at speed. You'll figure it out. You are very tallented.. This is all I will say about this.

Personally....I dont think its a pickup related issue. I know of several Fountains with multiple pickups that done have these issues....but if one thing is for sure in life....I have been wrong. lol. I think as R3 said, its a drive Ht issue. Put a 1in spacer in and you should be golden. High slip, goofy handling charecteristics..falling on its face after 5500 all tells me the props are losing grip on the water...ie X is too high.
