Had a chance to run mine today water pressure is good good water flow out from inter coolers but has adverse handling effects my wife was with as always never afraid of speed but I cranked it up 85 90 heading into strong s wind dead on and it hooked to the right I never touched the wheel we both freaked a little bit it wasnt good I thought it was a gust of wind that pushed us over, cruzed down river a ways and then started coming back with the wind decided to try it again 85 90 or so and it hooked to the left again not good I dont know if its blowout [ no rpm increase ] or the bullett skiing trying to lift the stearn up , I felt better with the sportmaster lower . Erick im curious to see how yours handles Im at a loss right now .
Just food for thought, a friend of mine just installed some scx-4's on his 460 Black Thunder and the boat exhibited some of the behavior that you have described in yours. He tried a 1" spacer and he says the boat handles great now.

Hey Dean, sorry to hear that the handling didn't work out for you.

No Eddie I have not checked with him , it seems to pull good all the way up to 80 90 free and easy and then kind of really load the props or to 5500 and run out of power seems like theres nothing more and thats when the action started , definately ran stronger with the bravo settup and 1.5 gears ??

Sorry Erick , toe is about 0 which I know is wrong , but it should not act this crazy . I just wonder if there is such a thing as the drives being to close together ? is spray from each drive blowing out the other ? I mean at 85 90 my slip figures out to 30+ % @approx 5500 ?? even at 42mph I was only 2800 which is maybe not to bad for cleaver props ?? I never thought the outcome would be this bad .
