I too have had a bit of a water pressure issue after raising the X . Yesterday afternoon I opened up the pick -up holes on my imco lowers. Will test tomorrow on Texoma.

Rick told me that I can open the pickup up to 5" going toward the skeg. I'm just making it lower on the drive to get it deeper in the water.

Eddie, Just saw your post. No water from drives, not good. Is the oil discoloring from heat? No water with all the passes would cook the drives, I have seen drives cook and blow the large reservoirs apart at 50 mph with no cooling. The sea strainers for sure put water over the drives. If the sea strainers were plugged from the drive side and you still have a pressure heat issue the water pressure should have increased due to the water not back-flowing out of drives. Are you running a single or dual stage pump? Have you read the water pressure before the oil cooler and after to see a pressure drop? Has the oil temp decreased at all? Once get water through the drives you won't have to worry about them burning up. If you are running a dual stage pump, I would maybe think about splitting it up, thats alot of water to push push through a 3" cooler with 18 or so tubes in it. Does that Hardin cross-over have 2 ways of feeding it? If so, feed 1 stage to the cooler, back to the cross-over and the other stage directly into the other side of the cross-over.
Using a dual stage pump, say with a bellhousing, I will run -16 to the trans cooler side make a -16 jumper into the bottom of each cooler. then I run the other stage back to the oil cooler side, come out of both coolers run -16 back to each side of the block using stainless steel -16 males, splitting the stages up between the 2 cylinder banks. I am not fully knowledgeable of the exact routing on the Fountain.
If you have any questions; give me a call. Mark
