In rough water this weekend on Lake Ontario I could not keep the bow down with the tabs and keep speed up. As the boat came out of the water it did not fly as level as i would like it to. Has anybody added some bow wt or a ballast system, I know that the 28 pantera has 6 lead plates up front and ocean race boats add wt at times. My fountain has two empty compartments up front under the mattress. I could add a few lbs there to offset the stern?
use a stern lifting props . problem solved

Thanks Rob for the prop tip. My 1st goal is to keep the rubrail above the water line. I re-enforced my A frame today with 2x4x12 bolted to the 2x6 legs. The hoist is alot more stable.

Default 502/415hp emi/mpi

I plan to reseal the exhaust holes, I have 34" emi dry risers with trim rings. I will be selling these motors w/o the oil coolers and drive cuplers emi exhaust in the swap shop.

Looking better by the day Glen! You got a lot going on, i will give you advise on one thing I missed when rigging mine. In your pics you have sea strainers . I see a hose going direct from the pickups to the strainers with no shut off at the strainer. I would recommend installing a pair. This will illiminate having a wet bilge from cleaning the strainers while on the water. Its not a tone of water that comes out once you pop the cap, just enough to be nuisance.

I relocated the batteries forward. A lot easier that expected. I removed the other bravo transom. I cleaned the bilge, painted the cut outs for the drives and exhaust. I also removed the sand bags from up front.
