I'm gonna guess the first big step stag 42 lightning was 1998. Boat was at least 5 years ahead of it's time

you are correct sir! here's my '98 Big Step.. I love it

In a nutshell, after 98 this hull & deck became known as the Executioner.... in '98 they also came out with a new style top deck (rounded windshield ) which was doubt the new lightning, I also believe from '99 & on were all staggered (up to '98 was optional) side by side, stag, or triple
