Ok guys sorry it took so long I got the dyno sheets today from Ron and they look awesome to me or I should have said they look like Potter motors to me. LOL.
5100 RPMs 532.9 HP
3800 RPMs 619.0 ft lbs torque
5100 RPMs 524.8
3800RPMs 617.7 ft lbs torque
MAX RPMs 5400
They look great should be right on 600 or very close to it at break in. The torque is massive though and right were you would want it 3800 RPMs top end of cruising speed.
Ron said they had a few issues with fuel pressure for a little bit only to find that they needed different fuel regulators on them. This brought the rail pressure up to 35lbs. They reprogrammed the ECM four times adding fuel and air. They ran great and he was pleased with how they turned out especially the torque curve. I'm very happy with them and very happy that Ron talked me into the 540 bore with stroker kits. Now I can't wait to feel them under my feet again. I can't say enough about the guys at Potter Performance.

Let me know your thoughts guys. Also I'm taking guess's on what props I will need now. Certainly going to need to be re proped. Let me know your guess. I would also like to hear what kind of props work well with the 32 Fever single step. I'm hearing a lot of guys talking about Hydromotive 5 blade. Let me hear some suggestions please. I have been running Bravo 1s 28" pitch. I think we should certainly use the extra inch of diameter. We can swing another 1.5 inch's of diameter on the Bravo drive's.

Nice numbers Lucky, sounds like you may not have been able to see the runs?

Were those numbers with your headers or Dyno headers?

As for props I can't help you, my motors are stock and only 510HP/ 579 TQ. I do run 28 hydro 4 blades but haven't tried anything else. You have a lot more, should be fun to see what it does when you get it together. Keep the thread going!

Cheers,

Thanks Jake, Im very happy with them. Ron tried to explain to me that in a boat horse power doesn't mean much. That is unless its in a cat and I wont get into how he explain the difference to me because I would probably just screw up the story anyhow. But he says in the torque HP equation for marine engines torque =s all the power.

Cheers,
Thank You Wildman. To answer your questions. No those numbers weren't with my headers. They were with Dyno headers. No I wasn't able to go and watch them dyno them. He said the process took him four days to do with programing the ECM again. He said he took the ECMs to his computer guy three different times for fuel air adjustment's before he finally got them like he wanted them. He had trouble with the fuel pressure regulator on one of them the first day and had to put two new ones on to get 35 PSI on the fuel rails. I was disappointed for sure cause I really want to go and watch. But more so I still didn't get my fix of hearing them run for the first time yet.
