Thanks Barry, I had a set of props worked with Brett at BBlades not too long ago so I'll give Brett a call about were he thinks we can start with the first size. I guess we can keep changing sizes until we get it were we want them. The biggest concern I have is my Fever doesn't feel like she holds her bow up as high as I like when trimmed all the way out. So this is a thought in the prop selection. Man Ron has a set of Herring props he is selling for a customer that I would love to have but I'm not spending that much until I'm sure what size I need. It would suck to spend 2500 on those and have to send them to BBlades to bend on them. LOL. Those are 30' of pitch. Beautiful set of props.

Thanks Joe. I hope your right about it being a rocket ship. I first got this boat I think it was the second time I had it in the water. I was cruising along around 50 MPH and I looked back and there was a kid on a jet ski on the corner of my stern. He was all bent over the handle bars as to lean down to be more aero dynamic. He was about to come over my wake and pass me for sure. He was probably running some were around 65 MPH or so. I reach for my throttle's and jammed her against the dash and just blasted away from the kid. I looked back again a few seconds later and he was setting back up now and slowing down like someone took his lolly pop away from him. I loved it and hope to have some of that for a few boats that I know who run around here and run the speed right around were I used to run if you know what I mean. LOL
Thanks Norm

That's funny Barry LOL. We can do it for sure but if we are wearing goggles I was thinking we would wear our beer goggles instead of the speed goggles. LOL

Well we need some pictures of the reinstall to keep this thread going now. I will keep this thread going until we finish this build. Anyone going to the river run in Jacksonville next weekend? I really wanted to run in the poker run there but we aren't going to be any were near ready for that. Calendar got away from me or I would have tried to push those guys a little harder so I would have been ready. I rented my room at the Hyatt right on the river with a slip and everything so I'm going but unfortunately I will be boat less. Any of you guys end up going and need a slip to tie up in contact me and you can use mine cause I have nothing to tie up in it unless I take my jet skis.

Ron tells me we should have new Stainless Marine headers next week. Looking to start the install at that point. He is running the tail pipes out the back in one shot so once we are installed measurements will be made for the tail pipes. Then we have to order those so I'm looking at another week to get those. I'm hoping he can put my new gauges in and new warning systems while we wait for the pipes. Ill post more pictures ones I have some new ones to post up.

Maybe I am not too bright but it seems odd to me that it has taken many months to build some very underwhelming motors, am I missing something? 600 hp from a big block and more than 3 months?
Sorry but I must be missing something, maybe I misread the thread

Just to update. Ron came to my shop this morning and picked up the boat. We started the install today. Sounds like they will have them installed by next week. At that point we have to measure for the tail pipes. We are running those from the header right out the back of the transom in one piece. No rubber what so ever. Stainless Marine told us this morning that we would be looking at a two week turn around on getting those back from when we order them. I'm having the gang put in all new gauges new warning systems on both motors new control cables and what ever else I can see that looks like it needs replacing. I already did all the bilge accessories myself. Batteries bilge pumps blowers, I even did a new transducer for my Garmin while I could put my hands on all of it. Let's not forget the new fender holder my wife gave me for fathers day this year as well.
