I did talk to Ron prior to letting someone else build my motor. He was extremely nice and very professional. The builder I used took a while also, longer than I wanted but it was all justified ,
I never would have ever complained about it on this site. That is between he and I.My end result was super and I'm happy.Be patient and give a pro time to do professional work.hf...

I'm sure I will be extremely happy too! No doubt. If you go back threw the thread someone else had the boat for a long period of time before Ron got it. So the winning is not in his direction. Its just the longest project I have ever done. Its also the only project like this period for me. Hell I had a guy in Saint Pete tune it up and put a set of controls on it. That took him three months to do that. Only to go on the sea trail and blow a manifold. I took it from that guy right to Potter. Can you imagine how long it would have taken to build two motors and put them back in? The way all of this has been to this point Ron has put extra time in the perfection of Potters work. Like the tails. He measured the bends angles just to order my tails in one piece from the headers right out of the back of the boat. It will be factory type of work. he called Stainless Marine just so he could answer my next question. How long on the order. He was told two week turn around. Turned out this is week four waiting for those to come in. Like I said up top there goes another month. Not Ron's fault. Besides I have to ***** some were. My wife is tired of hearing it. My employees run when I say the word BOAT. Were else can I go gripe??

Halfast. why did you go with a different builder then Potter? I wouldn't have even consider going with anyone else but them. I fact at first I was worried that he might not take my job. You walk in his shop its almost intimidating when you look at the other boats he has in his shop. I don't know what kind of boat you have but mine doesn't compare to the 500000 MTI that he works on or the 300000 Donzi that's in there quite a bit. There are several others he works on regular. I was griping about Ron leaving mine to work on one of the others a couple weeks ago. My wife spoke up and said if he gets yours going and you have something simple that needs to be adjusted or fixed. You better hope he doesn't make you wait till he does a complete install before fixing yours. Then that made sense too. All I could say we yea your right. Didn't think about that.
