I have been following along and have seen lots of threads like these throughout the years. I hate to be the guy that has to say it, but this thread is going to be long and drawn out. Long story short, it won't end well. only thing to get ready for is your cleanex and check book to get wiped out.

Just to change the mood of the thread. Exhaust is hooked up. Saturday when I was at his shop they were installing the beauty rings on the outside of the tails. He put a set inside the transom as well just to make things look good. I took all of the silent choice stuff off and this left a whole of open space on the inside of the transom. I also bought new drive reservoirs. Those are the round glass ones with the billet tops. We mounted those on the transom as well. I have new pictures to post as well. I'm out of town till Wednesday and can't post the pictures til. I get home. Mr Negative get off my thread. I have enough bad luck on my own without your wistfulness .

Well great news. Ron just left my shop. He stopped by to pick up my engine hatch. He told me Saturday he would not test without the hatch cover due to getting salt spray all over my new motors. Cross your fingers fellas. Next week I will be at the helm once again. My last post on this thread will be a video of how she runs. We have to reprop. Yet though.

On time. Once again your right on time. That's exactly what I'm thinking. I'm going to build something with a single engine as soon as I get this one done. Something 28 to 29 feet long with a whippel motor in it. Ron and I were talking about it Saturday. I ask what hull he thought I should use for a hot single motor. He thought Active Thunder 28. Being a Fountain man to the bone maybe a 29 fever single motor.
