Anyone know where to get this water pressure gauge? I'm not finding exactly the same ones on the Livorsi website. Tried to fix it but I cant get it to go back to zero.

Call Livorsi, they can probably use your face in a new gauge so it will match.

Yes, O'Malley's is second stop then it comes back north. I know that is opposite of what would be best for you.

Kelly,
1st I've heard of any run on Cayuga. Tell us more or you or someone possibly start a thread on the Poker Runs forum. Never been on Cayuga but have wanted to so I don't know any of the stops you mentioned.

Bill, this is a very laid back run- heck my father has run it with his pontoon !
I will try to scan the flier I saw, if we get a bunch of us together we can have a great time with this event.

I called Livorsi today. Just as an FYI for anyone who has this style gauge, I was told they have been discontinued only only have a few left.

My gauges are not exact same as ones here, have the monster series, but on the first time out for the season this past saturday one of my water pressure gauges acted the same, functioned more or less normal with the exception that it read way high. So what is the fix here? Can something be diddled with on the back of the gauge to correct this? Chit can the gauge and start new? What is the deal here?

Call Lavorsi and ask for Fred Ortega or email him at [email protected]. He will hook you up. I buy all my stuff from him. I started buying from Mike Lavorsi at first and Mike sent me to Fred. Guy is very sharp on anything to with performance boats.

These are the same gauges I have in my Fountain as well. You know I could be wrong but I'm thinking that those gauges don't hit zero because the water pump pressure doesn't completely shuts down. In other words if your motors are sea water cooled like mine are just because the thermal state is closed the pumps are still pumping water threw your manifolds all the time. This is why its not hitting zero. When the thermal state closes mine drop down to something like 5 or 7 lbs. When open they are around 21 to 25 pounds. If you watch your water temp gauge when the water pressure drops to almost zero the temp shoots up. They will hit like 190 to 200 depending how hard your running and the pumps will kick in again. But think about this for a minute. Where would the pressure go if those pumps were completely shut down by the thermal state?? Unless you have some sort of pressure relief valve that I don't have Zero is never be the correct reading on your sea pumps. I think your gauges are fine just like they are. Let me know thoughts!

You're basically rotating the gauge in the case so you have to do that pretty gingerly. You do not want to rotate it past zero or you might damage the gauge.

I'm gonna do this with my speedo... see if I can get an easy extra 20 MPH:poopoo:

I pulled my gauge & messed with it but could not get it to go to zero. I ended up calling Livorsi & getting 2 new ones & replaced both. all good now.

Let me know that the knew ones are the exactly the same when you get them installed!! It doesn't make sense to you that the sea pump is always pumping water? Hell the read the instructions that come with the new ones for installation. Don't think you will find anything about adjusting the reading on the gauge.
