Crude Intentions 08-14-2017 06:45 PM

Those seats look awesome.

dykstra 08-15-2017 06:43 AM

Coming together nicely. I can't wait to see this azz kicker finished!!

KWright 08-18-2017 10:19 AM

Ok I found a spring manufacturer that will make softer springs for these seats. The coil overs that is on these have a 250 in lb spring rate. Way to stiff. I found someone who will make some at 110 in lb. Pm me if you want info.

You can buy springs from Fox Shocks. They are used for rear suspension on mountain bikes. The complete shock is adaptable.

These already had the softest springs they had 250 lbs per inch. I needed 100 lb springs.

class6 08-27-2017 08:41 PM

They were fox? I just had them make 80-140 progressive wound springs for a set of bases I just made

KWright 08-27-2017 08:51 PM

Yes I called and talk to them 2 weeks ago. They said they couldn't make them. These are the vanilla Rc,

KWright 08-27-2017 09:07 PM

What are the dimensions of your springs you ordered? I would be interested in getting some progressive wound ones also. Thanks

class6 08-27-2017 09:19 PM

40 mm x 625 mm I think they might be made by eibach for fox

class6 08-27-2017 09:20 PM

40 is the ID

KWright 08-27-2017 10:20 PM

class6 08-27-2017 10:32 PM

Looks good, any pics of the motors?

You also have the original kilo boat?

KWright 10-01-2017 11:13 AM

No pics of the motors yet. they are going to be off the 525 efi platform, so we can retain the smartcraft and vessel view.
looking for something reliable. The Kilo boat belongs to a friend, just helping sort some stuff out.

See now i get a pic sent to me over the weekend of a 42 that DeMarco is parting out and I'm thinking . . . . hmmm . . . . what would it take to do a full on conversion of an old derelict 42 to a PR style deck  . . . . hmmmm . . . . . Jamie? hows the progress on yours?

You could do a nice "Poor man's PR" with me 42 that's for sale. I seriously contemplated doing a full gut of this thing and doing just that. Never used my cabin anyway.
