Test fit tanks, bottoms sanded acid cleaned and sealed with epoxy. |
I have a Mastercraft X1 also (red & white) ....wish I had this Poker Run sitting next to it also! Awesome project and thanks for sharing with us.
|
The X1 is definitely a really fun boat I've had it for 11 years now. Thanks for the compliment.

Floors are glassed back in. New JL audio is going in.
new garmin chartplotter and mercury vessel view. |

Area where floor panel screwed in. Seat and footrest attaches to this. |

Now that we have tanks no reason to have such a big removable panel. Just needed forward part to be removable, so it was cut down so only footrest part could be removed. That will give us access to all the fill and vent hoses. |
Looking good Mr. Wright

No not really. It would be nice to have the extra seat, but it would of been a lot of work.

Hell no to the "third" seat.
No, because the "third wheel" is always a fat girl. ALWAYS! Kwright eliminated the threat... Good job Kwright. No fat girls for you. |
I like the 4 seats - as well as the "step" from cockpit to hatches. I've thought about taking out my middle seat to develop some walk steps from cockpit to hatches. ...similar to the 47 cockpit.

Just curious. Anywhere along the way in redoing this boat did you consider turning it into a five seater? I wonder how involved that would be?

The poker run is challenging to get in and out of. The arm rest/ cooler makes a great step. Hopefully we will be spraying gel this weekend, John (fiberglass guy) was out sick for 2 weeks now just working to get caught up.
|
Keep it up man, taking it on any poker runs?
|
Yes. Were registered for the 1000 islands.
