Re: Long Island Sound Funrun??
Pat,
I appreciate the well wishes... The boat got four people through the 15th and I count that as lucky. I have to say that for the money, I am rolling my eyes big time. The QA in NC seems a little out of touch. What sinks it for me is that I know of two other 04 29's with more than their share of issues too........ Not what I expected. I'll get through it.
We need to start the ball rolling for the next event...

Steve,
Sorry to hear of your issues.
My GPS went wonky one day but I think it was a satellite issue, I was in the airport flight path on the lake. Other than that I have had to fix a few little things, like on all the new boats I have bought. But the HP525 hesitation issue is a puzzling one. My dealer has sold over 50 HP525 combos & that's a new one. Nothing to do w/ fuel filter or winter leftover gas?
I'm sure you are ahead of all that. Keep us in the loop & best wishes for a quick solution.

Re: Long Island Sound Funrun??
Mike,
I think the issue (which Gferdon also seems to have with one of his 6.2's) might be fuel related. I am forming the hypothesis that perhaps the tanks were not kept clean and/or dry prior to and perhaps during installation. But it could be a simple ECU issue ir some other electronic gizmo. I love the boat and motor and will "suck it up" and wait for the dealer network to work.
As for the pictures I wish I had taken more "action" shots. Next time I will have someone doing that... But thanks to all for the thanks!!! Had fun doing it!!

Re: Long Island Sound Funrun??
Offshore Only very nicely created under photos, Poker Runs a Long Island Fun Run spot for us to post all our pictures. I moved the pictures I had to over there. If anyone else took pictures, that would be the place to post them. Long Island now has a place on the Photo board... Pretty cool......
