Steve,

That looks great in the water. Do you have a set of 2.25/1.88 valves for a pair of heads? The ones I tried to buy, fell through... Where should I check to find 990 heads? I've been checking ebay. One last thing. Is the 990 head unique or are other castings similar?

Thanks- Bryan

Bryan...
I will look for a set of valves today when I get to work.
The 990 head is unique. I may have a single head. I will post you again tonight.

Thanks- Steve

Bryan...
I have a set of valves for you. I will clean them up and reface them for you.
I was wrong this morning, you can also use a 188 casting cylinder head. I did not have a single head, but I have a customer with a pair that has one bad. I have not given him the bad news yet. Maybe he will want a new pair and be willing to sell the one good one.
You can have the valves if you pay the shipping. Just e-mail me your address.

Bryan...
I got your message. I will box the valves up and ship them out on Friday. I am still not sure about this head yet. I will let you know when I get a answer.

The valves are on there way. They left Friday on UPS.
You should get them on Tuesday. I will send you a PM with the tracking number.

Steve,

Thanks again.

I pulled the other motor today and tore it down. The internals looked ok. Water had mixed with the oil then run. The bearings/journals look ok. The no.3 cyl. has some water marks (water sat in the bore). This block is a four bolt. I'm going to run it down to the shop tomorrow for checking. I dont know if the crank is cast. The pistons are KB and I think the rods are the small ones. Maybe, just maybe I need to buy one motor now
