It was the least I could do after that great day of boating on your boat. I might add it was a very expensive day also. It showed Vicki and I that it may be time to move up.

It all depends if that hole in the water that you're pouring money into is big enough or not.

If you throw enough money into it maybe you can plug that hole. Probably not!!! What's Stinson doing for you????

The 42X's cabin seemed larger than when I was in StrikinLightnin's at the end of the summer. I know it's a huge difference from the 35'. I'll have to measure that also this weekend.
Dan
When i ordered my 98, i wanted the classic deck boat not the tall windshield boat i was told that the hull with the big steps was approximately 3"inch taller, and at the time i was back and forth from my 90 40' and a big step tall deck and of course there was a big difference between the two. and after taken delivery of the 98 there seemed to be the difference. if I'm parked next to a pre 98 big step boat with the classic deck i definitely sit taller regardless if it's a step hull or straight.

I can't tell you what Sean is doing.........I'd have to

So is it the freeboard or the deck that's taller on your boat?

STR/LGNTN,

it is in the free board.

I was at my boat this last weekend and forgot to measure the seats untill it was all put away. But i was talking to Preston from Raymonds ( Thats were my boats at having some work done ) and after remembering about measuring the distance, we were talking about the distance and he say's the seats in the classic deck staggered and triples are very close to the dash compared to my side by side. I will try to remember to measure in a couple weeks when im back down.

Default ICBM

The new ICBM "It Could Be Mine", "Inter Continental Ballistic Missle" is not as different from the new lightning as some may think. If you like the old deck this boat is best value in the performance boat market this year. With staggered 525 and a Lightning bottom this boat will run low 80's all day. What you give up is the new deck and an integrated swim ladder. Not to much for you the consumer gain!!! We have two in stock, there hot and reeady to go!!

Default 42 Executioner

The cabin height inside is the same as the 42 Lightning.

later,

Well I was at the shop yesterday working on the boat and I finally remembered to take a measurement or two.
The first measurement is from the vertical fiberglass area under the rear seat (where the speakers are mounted) to the closest bolt on the bottom of the front seat mount bracket on the floor.
I had a distance of 33"
The next was taken at the bottom of the helm station where the strip of upholstry runs along the bottom.
The measurement was taken from the inside of the upholstry strip on the helm station to the front of the bolster's seatback.
I measured 24"
Maybe you could do the same for a comparison
