Default whats different about the ICBM

I have a red 89 icbm fever, what makes it different from any other fountain? Is it because it's red?

My question is what makes the "ICBM" different than any other fountain style ? Is it like a trim package option like when you buy a ford truck the lariot package. What is the big hype about the new "ICBM" how is it different from the lightinings or exacutioners.

How about it is an old school marketing term for an updated classic Fountain.

The ICBM is classic Fountain, updated power, but yet value priced as opposed to the Lightning model being the latest & greatest.

I would assume that the ICBM is exactly like the 35 Executioner in terms of styling & pricing, they gave it the classic ICBM name of previous Fountain models of yesteryear.

But I could be wrong, just my guess. Fever Mike will straighten us out.

Fountain has opted to call the 42' Classic the "Executioner". Maybe it's more PC. The factory did one boat with the ICBM colors before changing the name.

One thing I noticed was the drivers seat seams to positioned to close to the helm on the 42 X. The 42 Lightning felt more comfortable.

i noticed the tight fit myself, i thought maybe because i had my jacket on and ive put a few pounds on, i might also be used to my 42 which is side by sides and i think they move the seat back a little, all and all a awsome boat at a great price.

Later,
Does your 42 feel like there is more leg room. Strikin Lightning has staggerds in his 42 and I don't remember it being that close. When leaning back into the bolster the seat placement did not allow for enough leg extension.
