Greig,

Next time you want to come down, Let us know in advance...
We would meet up with you at the Fire Island Inlet and have some real fun in Suffolk County... A lot of open bay and a lot less urban clutter then Nassau County... Tequilla Jacks on Fire Island was rated by Powerboat Magazine one of the top 10 spots in the US for performance boats...

Stay in touch and thanks for following and participating in our thread....

Oh, by the way, did you notice the Lake George Fall Poker run .. It is probably a lot closer to you.....

Hey Greig,

I too am sorry we missed you. I was up your way last weekend, we were just headed for Haverstraw marina for the weekend but decided to go all the way to Albany to take #3 son to lunch! He is a student at the University...he thought we were nuts to spend all that money on fuel since he could put it to much better use buying beer! Caught a number of runs on the way up and back and got my butt kicked most on most of them...so it goes. Please give us a call next time you are down this way and I will do the same when I get back to the Hudson...some beautiful areas up that way. Next season we plan to motor all the way up to Lake George, stay the week and return.

Gary

BTW, what bridge is this??

Re: New York Metro Fountain Owners

Hey Vinny,

Thanks again for taking care of the gas cap... Check the Fountain 42 Price thread for the good word, that I am happy to give you guys...

Also are you going to be at the Tobay boat show??? And when is it????

If so, maybe we Fountain owners will come by boat and raft up as a show of Fountain strength on the water as well as your display on land....

Let me know, I'll speak with Steve and I am sure if Gary is available we can come by and give you the support that you deserve....

Remember What goes around, comes around....

Thanks again...

Thanks guys for all your support. Gary I am working on getting your seat frame shipped. They made some "Big People" Reinforcements to the frame. Just Kidding.

Cool Re: New York Metro Fountain Owners

GENTLEMEN,

I guess the season is really winding down.. This thread is dead!!!!!!!

Sunday was an amazing day on the bay... Clear, no humidity and a light breeze...
A number of Skaters, Cigarettes, Hustlers, Avtivators and Formulas cutting wakes in the flats...
Most of them from my club, The Anchorage, and most of them MRD maintained boats..
Fabulous day for speed runs....

In the afternoon the wind shifted to the southwest at about 15mph, Nice little chop coming from one direction.... I got 78 at 5100... Not bad for a heavy hull with stock power !!!! Turn Key....

I still wonder what an 800hp blower motor would do..... Don't you Steve??? MIA ????

Hey guys, wake up and stay alive!!!!!!

Duncan
