Long range weather looking good for Sarasota:

I know sometimes the long range weather forecast does not hold up but right now, I like what I see. Lets hope it stays as forecast. I will do regular weather postings as we get closer but could not help but take a peek at the long ranger.

FMO Charity Auction
Our FMO run to Sarasota is shaping up to be one of our most exciting events ever. I have held in reserve 2 seats on Team PREDATOR and a room at the Hyatt, deciding that the best usage for them is to try and raise some money for our clubs charity, the Student Scholarship Fund. Bidding will close at 9 PM Monday evening. Bids will be accepted by way of phone, e mail, posting on our Facebook page or our thread on OSO.
Here is what you get:
1) 2 seats aboard Team PREDATOR to Sarasota from either Marco Island (8:45 AM) or alternatively the Ft. Myers area (9:30 AM) on Friday Jan 25th.
2) Your hotel room at the Hyatt is included for 2 nights.
3) 2 seats on Team PREDATOR for our lunch run Saturday in the Tampa Bay area.
4) Dinner for 2 in the Hyatt ballroom Saturday 7 - 9 PM.
5) Party with entertainment in the “Boathouse” after dinner from 8:30 till midnight. 2 drinks compliments of DoubleR Performance and Nor Tech Hi Performance Boats.
6) Return to Ft Myers / Marco Island leaving at 10:30 AM Sunday morning.
7) Complimentary FMO membership for 2013 and an FMO tee shirt or hat.
8) A large picture of you aboard Team PREDATOR taken from the helicopter. Donated by Jay Nichols / NapesImage. Thank you, Jay !
Minimum bid $ 600.00

He he. I guess it does sound a little silly Tom if you missed what was said in post # 66 where Nor Tech and DoubleR are buying drinks for well over 100 people attending. At prices ranging from $6.75 to $9 a drink, their bar bill will well exceed $1,000.00. NT and DR were the only two corporate sponsors to offer anything for this event so was just putting in a plug for them. Also want whoever puts their money up for the auction to know they will enjoy the same benefits as everyone else.
