Help! Any Rude experts here?
I need to know the official power rating for the Evinrude 200 HO, it's a 3.3 litre engine, and for racing in the UK in the 200hp class it's allowed to be 10% over power which is bad enough when Mercury's old XR2 which I'm still running is at least 10% under powered, but the Evinrude guy at the boatshow at the weekend said it was nearer 240hp, what I want to know is - was he exagerating (it wouldn't be new would it?) or is it really that powerfull?
It must be the official out of the box HP as well, not what people think it might be! I must point out this is research so that I can find something to match it and fight a fair fight rather than just throw the toys out of the pram and get the engine thrown out!
