The crotchstraps are stowed in little pockets on the back of the vest.

Best equipment?....Kill switch/s. That way if you goon it up nobody else gets whacked by a runaway boat, just you. Otherwise any vest is better than none should you choose to wear it. Start there then go for the top notch stuff.

I ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS wear a kill switch. My boat is also equipped with a passenger kill switch, and my wife wears hers too...

If anyone is interested in the Mustang 4600s, and doesnt mind the tri color ones \red\yellow\purple, http://www.c-mesales.com/ has them for $72. I have 3 of these and wear them a lot. Maybe the pic on the website is old tho. looks like mustang only offers the 2 solid colors on their website. http://www.mustangsurvival.com/produ...uct.php?id=407

Kill switches are a really good idea. A friend of mine got killed because of not having them. He was thrown out of a boat that then circled around and ran over him. On a large lake, if the boat doesn't hit something, it's coming back.

I just ordered kill switches on Monday from Trick. Fred's price was as good as anyone's.
