What Ben did was not only evil but cowardly- he didn't even do it himself. Don was no saint but he didn't deserve to be shot down like that.

dale, the only whittington that didn't go to prison, died in 2003

bill forfeited $7M and was sentenanced to 15 years in 1987 and don got 18 months for money laundering....

and for those who don't know, the whittingtons built road atlanta with their drug money...

You guys keep saying that neither are saints. One's a drug runner and murderer. The other was a shrude business man. I don't see the connection. Is there something that the rest of us dont know? Did Don ever hire someone to commit a murder? Did Don ever have direct connections with drug smuggling? I realize Don knew who he was selling boats too but again...That's business.

I don't see the comparison of the two.

And at what point did Don and Kramer race against each other?

Funny thing to look back on that era of IMSA/boating/smuggling. It was all about marijuana smuggling back then. Amazing considering that certain states are now legalizing it for medicinal purposes and that in general, MJ has a diminished reputation as a Terrifying Narcotic now a days...
