Help..Vinyl Graphics...Eraser Wheel..GUN!!
Does anyone know where I can get an eraser wheel here in South Florida? I have some vinyl graphics that I'm trying to remove and they are refusing to leave!!!! ARGH!
I've tried the hair dryer and it laughed...
I even tried some of the "safe" paint remover the West Marine sells and I let it sit for 6 hours!! It laughed again !!
Maybe I should just shoot this crap off......
Ok I feel better now.
So they tell me try an "eraser wheel"...does it work and does anyone know where I can get one?

Astro is the brand name of an eraser wheel I have used with success. Also, I doubt if the hair dryer provides enough heat to "soften" the graphic for removal - a heat gun is required. I have removed vinyl trim from campers, both aluminum and fiberglass and have found the heat gun to be the most effective for stuborn areas, depending on the type or composition of the graphics. Care is necessary using the heat gun.

3M makes several varieties of wheels for vinyl stripe and graphics removal. Look under abrasive accesories for stripe removal discs. Copy & Paste the link below.

Make sure You dont turn it to fast, it will melt the vinyl.
Do what I didnt read the instructions first.
