sounds like this story got to you a little. it has gotten to be a big joke between me and my friends up here on the the big lake. just seeing if we can find the guy. i would love to see any pics of someone in 6 to 8's.

I Agree- Real 6-8' seas are nuts as usually there would be a 30+ knot wind along with it...

i agree. come up to michigan in the fall and we will show you a real 6 to 8 or 10 to 12.

So if you can't run at speed in 6-8, how will these go fasts handle it at idle speeds? How about coming back in the inlet, when 6-8 in the ocean become 10-12 breakers?

Isn't this what winter is for?


I didn't see any donzi's on lake michigan this fall after it got really rough so I have no knowledge of their abilities in rough water. Seems no one will take them out. NK

I was out there racing the 38 Donzi in my 18 Donzi Classic skimning across the 6 to 8 footers with no problem.
