Wärtsiläs main "Dynoroom" is less than a mile from my home.
I can see it and have toured it twice.
Here they test mainly the 4 strokes. The dyno room lies on a waterbed so that the houses nearby won´t tumble down or start rattling.
One of my best friends from school is the companys marketing manager.
Orders anyone?

Science channel had a show for a German 14 cyl. 110,000 HP at 94 RPM. Could uncouple piston from rod if there was a piston cyl. failure and the rod would go up and down in the piston with the piston locked in place.
