LOOKED AT GOING TO THE 48' BUT SPEEDS WITH THE SAME MOTORS AS THE 39' WERE NOT WORHT IT!!! IT SEEMED THAT THE 48 RODE NOSE DOWN UNTIL AROUND 80-85MPH,AND STILL GOT TUNNEL SPRAY, BUT NOT AS BAD AS THE 39 AT SLOWER SPEEDS....

Scott the guy from Sandusky your talking about is Tim Drake he had a 39 first that phatkat now owns had the trip. 48 built, dont think he ever had it dailed in though, Denies Kaiser was the guy who owned JAWS 39 express first then a 48 also had the 46 Skater race boat one time world kilo record holder he has sold everything now. Slick Nick would like to see some pics when you get done sounds like you did some major renovations to your boat.

Sylvester,
I thought of his name last night and yes you are correct. I know Dennis and all the history. We are not good friends but have talked on occasion and will acknowledge each other in passing. I am a summer time regular in the Sandusky area I started hanging out and making friends a couple of years before the old Dutch lane crowd started to break up. It was because of them and their cool toys that sparked my interest in High Performance boating.
I can only assume that your boat was Kaiser's old 39-pleasure boat that he had painted all white before he sold it.
I noticed in your profile that you are from the same area by any chance are you affiliated with the place on route 20 in the Township? If so I might have met you. Stopped in for some info on steering. I live down the street off of Eckel Junction. Scott
