Ron P, Since you've got the wings for lift and control why not put a steel plate right at the CG of the boat and then a strong electromagnet in the chase helocopter. The first time you launch big the pilot could turn on the electromagnet and you'd be in complete control, the top speed is now the limit of the helo. I doubt any of the F1 boats can beat a helocopter!! You Da Man.

Guy's, dont get too worked up. The boat does not exist. Even if it did, it would not make homologation because it's over 30 feet.
Sorry to ruin your great story.

Ron what are you smoking? It must be some good **** cause its getting deep.To bad you can't race it in Factory 1 , or 2 for that matter. Factory 1&2 wont let you run anything with wings or air lifting devices. Also Factory 1 cant be longer than 30 feet.Sounds like a great P-2 or P-3 boat.Maybe SBI will let you run they have no rules (minimal)

I just got off a two hour call with Fabio. We decided that it is time for us to read the rule book.

As we speak, Fabio is blocking 6 feet off the mold and will pop out a new 30' hull in a week. Since he has a huge client base, he will be able to sell at least 20 of the 30 foot version before April. Of course the retail version doesn't have wings so we may have to remove them too in order to meet the homologation rules.

He expects the new hull to be lighter and run in the 112mph area.

You guys are still toast.

I must agree with TYPHOON. That must be some really good stuff you are smoking over there. Definately a funny one!!!! Typhoon, will you be in Daytona in April. Will love to stop by and party with your team. I got an idea for a new post for the F1 guys. Title it Factory 1 Wars. Kinda like that show on cable "Junkyard Wars" LETS BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
