Hey Jerry. Spoke with Parnell a little in Key West. I'm kind of interested in one, jusk waiting to see what it will look look like, and how fast it will go.

Brain if you choose to do a CC be sure you make the boat self bailing. Go study some of the best CC self bailing boats to make sure you do it correctly. CC's absolutly must be self bailing.

Well bud ..... it's gonna look like a 41 Apache with console and outboards on a bracket ... there are some pics of the hull , and the deck plug in the Saber forum . Speeds , yeah , thats gonna be interesting .... it's a big boat , and she'll need every bit of whatever 300 or 325 hp power plant thet can get!

There are too many 38 ft go fast sport boats out already !

Needs to be 70 with triples , and keep the helm in the back 1/3rd of the boat .

There isn't any shortage of CC's either. You will see fifty here in Florida for every go fast.

NOT 38'+ performance oriented, narrow beam, twin step, rock solid , offshore center consoles that aren't turds !

There's probably a reason too.

Yeah , it's called "market share" and "fishin boats sell" and yadda yadda yadda ..... but that doesn't work for everyone ... If you want an O/B hotrod bigger then a 36 Concept , your options are really limited at this time ...

funny you should write this thread, I've been knocking this around for a while....I've been into go fast boats since 1989 and I have to say that I had enough for a little while. I just bought a 38 Donzi ZFX with triple 275's and look forward in chilling out for a while, we'll see what happens....

:drink: z

Trader, at least you could have gotten a 4300 fish:p :drink:

These are my thoughts too. Plenty of wide beam , slow and expensive purpose built fishing boats. With the technology of 4strokes and advanced hull designs , I would think a 8.6 beam , go fast type CC would be a good seller. Look at Concept what they've achieved w/ graphics , nice gauges and quality interiors , etc.
