i tell ya what, i loved my 260 Stinger. you really cant go wrong with either. i spent alot of time on the water in mine and it always suprised me. very big boat for a 26 footer, my dock neighbor was a 30 Scarab Panther and my boat was only about a foot shorter and had tons more cockpit and cabin space not to mention a room in the bilge. good performance and handled ruff water well (bury the tabs and hit it ) i ended up trading mine in on a 34 Scarab but was asking 13.5K for it. it was in great shape with a ton of new stuff on it. good luck with your search. Fund Razor on the board has a very nice 86 i believe may be for sale. heres a link to an info page i had for the ebay ad.

where will you be boating at? are you looking for a boat that needs a little TLC or do you want turn key? it will effect the cost, you may find one for 10K but expect it to need a few things. mine really didnt need anything major (i had already done just about everything) i really just wanted it gone so i could get into a bigger boat. feel free to call me at the # in that link if you need any other 260 Stinger info.

theres a completely redone nova 250 on ebay, 2x 351's really nice looking boat, it would be inexpensive to own and operate, handles rough water good and shouldnt tear things up..not the fastest at mid 50's but it might be a good starting point... Ive got one and love it.
