We have a guy around here who owns a Top Gun. He won't let you on the boat with shoes but would rather you walk on the deck with socks on. Lord knows he wouldn't dream of pulling the boat up on the beach, the whole 9 yards.... yup, that kind of guy.
He's always on the boat by himself!

I beach my boat. I also break stuff almost every weekend I use the boat, and its not that I'm careless it's that the boat is a toy to me and when using it stuff happens. In the same token I constantly maintain my boat. My brother-inlaw is so anal about his boat I can't see how its any fun. I say just relax and do whatever you want with your boat. As long as it dosen't sink or catch on fire then it has been a good weekend. I have a 42 tiger ts.

If it sinks or burns its not a problem I'm insured and I'll get another one that'll look just like it only faster.
