cockpit flooring ?

I used contact cement...key is to let it sit up the entire time. It'll seem like it dry when you go to install it...it's not!!!! Locks in place upon contact. I have had problems with bubbling if used too soon. Nothing a heavy roller can't fix (rent one for the day from home depot or such)

Create a template of your cockpit and transfer it to the sheet of vinyl. I used 1/8" Lauan plywood and ripped it into 4" lengths. I created a perimeter template with it and used hot glue to keep it together, then layed it on top of my sheet of vinyl and cut the vinyl with the a utility knife. I used the same knife to cut the shapes in the lauan, it cuts very easily. For the radius areas or tricky curved areas on the perimeter I just sanded the lauan to get the shape. If you need more info, let me know, I think I have pics of the process somewhere.

I found this in a car catalog I started getting. Less expensive, looks very similar, and comes in larger rolls to avoid seems. No personal experience with it, but looks like a less expensive alternative.
