I will also say that a twin 29 Scarab is my nemisis at the lake.......I finally saw one out one time although we were both badly loaded down with people and gear.....like 5 and 6 people each!.......he steadily inched away.......talked to him later he had the 300hp FI motors and I have the 270hp carb motors with a zillion hrs....its all good
noticably picked up some low end with the Rev exhaust and about another 500rpm on top,(the Scarab race was pre Rev ) Im real happy with them, Id buy them again in a heartbeat.
where are you guys from?

A very decent priced header for a standard Bravo configuration is the Unitop Header by CMI. This true header is an Elbow Top Header with a welded tail piece and they perform and look like an Elbow Top header.
We just sold a set the other day and it was the first time I personally had seen them. They are much closer in price to a manifold that other headers in the CMI line.
So if you have a standard Bravo configuration, consider the Unitop Header. Great looks, performance and price for a true header!

They hold up to the constant heat cycles and vibration much better than headers IMHO....
