He used to be in the ice cream delivery business in competition with Ole Evinrude

Ah T2x,

He is likely one of the smartest people I have ever had the privelege to call friend. He has a better half, who is just that...a better half and a son who is OFFSHORE RACING'S #1 FAN! He is loyal, articulate, intelligent, profound, caring, honest, witty and blunt. He calls it as he sees it, and for some that is just to tough to swallow. He is just one hell of a great guy!

Oh, and he knows a LOT of stuff too.:eureka:

Dust'n the Wind II is still incomplete...we recently received the proper exhaust tuners, so the engines are complete...

All that is left is to install the aeleron system...... which has taken two years to finish.

This is the sister ship.............

Well........ one out of eight ain't bad.......:p

As a full time lurker and no time poster, I can say I am one (of probably many) who has searched T2x's previous postings to absorb all that he has to share.

After reading the "some vandal glued a popsicle stick to the bottom of the Fountain that threw its balance off and as a result it didn't win" thread where T2x was roughed up, I thought how horrible it would be for that invaluble resource to be run off.

So I thought I would post to show my appreciation of his contributions. Thank you.

I have gone a round or 2 with T2X and although we do not agree on things sometimes here on OSO I'd rather be friends with T2X than some others because he speaks his opinion and has a passion for performance boats. Plus I respect him for the father that he is. T2X is cool by me!

At no time did I claim to be a genius. From reading the thread with all of its cryptic speech that could be deciphered by those in the inner circle, an ordinary person like me has no clue what happened. Sorry to offend you with my interpretation.

Instead of being so quick to attack the innocent at your keyboard, go stand guard by that "messed up" Fountain and not let it happen again, or attack those who did the damage.

NO I've never actually been in or around an offshore race.... but a guy who looks like me ran this one......

The interesting thing about this race (center photo) was that it was the first race for the Fountain Executioner, Reggie himself driving..... and this ugly thing....lapped it.

I always loved Fever(in fact I have called it one of the two greatest "pound for pound" offshore race boats in the history of the sport on many telecasts)....and Joe Sgro is an old and good friend, so is Pete Meyers. I knew the history of your boat...why do you think I asked about the original owners....? By the way it was called "Dragon Lady" originally..... and it was fast. When it was Shockwave, I saw it every week in the late Doug Lewis' shop, another dear friend...who is sorely missed today.......

cant speak for t2x, but met the chip guys, and they are good. when they passed us they shook my boat. Ha!
