Law enforcement involves some of the toughest and immediate decisions to ever be made. I've had the privilage of making difficult decisions while in the military, and have had the misfortune of recieving the results of those decisions from law enforcement. I've learned you cannot pass judgement concerning any decision made unless you are in the shoes of the deciding individual. I only hope for clarity, responsibility, and quickness in this process. As lousy as this situation was to be in, all parties were well intentioned and it worked out in the best way possible. I'd suggest it wasn't enjoyable for either side of the event.
